As a freelance graphic designer, I had the pleasure of designing the 2023 brochure for Art in the Orchard — a beloved outdoor sculpture trail nestled within the working fruit fields of Park Hill Orchard in Easthampton, MA.

This year’s exhibition featured 33 juried artists whose sculptures transformed the orchard into a walking gallery of creativity and land-based expression. My role was to craft a brochure that served both as a practical trail guide and a visual extension of the experience — blending clean, accessible layout with a sense of invitation and wonder.

The final piece included the full artist lineup, trail details, donation information, and helpful tips for visitors navigating the orchard’s harvest season. Designed to be both functional and reflective of the event’s spirit, the brochure helped guests move through the space with clarity, while highlighting the creative energy of this uniquely local tradition. The brochure balances practical details with the artistic spirit of the trail — from juried artist listings to trail maps, visiting tips, and donation guidance. It was designed to feel as welcoming as the event itself: a celebration of community, land, and local creativity. Whether guests came for the art, the apples, or the atmosphere, this brochure helped them experience it all with clarity and joy.
